The Global Warming Hoax: Global Drop In Temperature

The environmentalist religion can't escape reality.
It is getting freezing cold and the south pole is increasing in size:

Results from a new, spatially extensive network of 236 accumulation poles document that the current 5-year (1992-1997) average annual net accumulation at the South Pole is 84.5+/-8.9mm water equivalent (w.e.). This accumulation rate reflects a 30% increase since the 1960s...

The penguins got plenty of new land.

The Socialist hoax religion of global warming has been the opium for the uselful idiot and ignorant masses, doesn't work when its freezing, does it, it wont stop them however, the environmentalist lunacy has led to taxation, regulations and restrictions on production and commerce, increased costs and gonflated leftist politicians like hot-air balloons.

Its time for the global warming addicts to take a cold turkey!

Beijing's coldest December day in 57 years

Winter truly arrived in Beijing yesterday with the highest temperature of the day down to minus 8.8 ℃. Media reports say it was "the coldest day in December in the last 57 years."

Will Canada see its first white christmas since 71?

The first day of winter brought wind-chill warnings, snow and a bevy of storms to cities across Canada on Sunday, potentially laying the groundwork for the first cross-country white Christmas in nearly four decades.

I wish to point out, with no malice intended, that the two countries who have major scientific organizations that have been pushing the global warming idea, Britain and the UKMET and the US with NOAA have been burned by the cold that has developed here. NOAA had a December forecast for a warm central US for November that they were forced to revise and the UKMET forecast for a rather bland winter for Europe speaks for itself. Its anything but bland, whether it averages out near the average or not, because what is coming has not been seen in years.

Bitter, cold, high winds chill midwest, east

CHICAGO (AP) - Bone-numbing cold spread Monday from the Midwest to the East, forcing millions to bundle up and scurry from place to place in a bid to spend as little time as possible outside.

"It's so cold, it feels like needles are pricking my eyes," grumbled 19-year-old Ashley Sarpong of Chicago, a fur-lined hood pulled around her face Sunday as she crossed a wind-swept bridge that crossed the Chicago River. "This is the coldest I've felt all year."

Snowfall was scant after the subzero air mass rolled in, but ice and high wind whipped up snow along roadways and made driving hazardous for holiday travelers. The cold was less severe Monday, the second day of winter, but temperatures in Chicago were expected to get only into the single digits.

I was interested to find this blog. 20 years ago I had a book published on different economic concepts to point the way to a sustainable world economy. Someone who liked the book contacted me this year to suggest that I update and re-publish it as a blog. She set up the blog, and the book is now complete on the blog in a series of postings. There are now also additional pieces on global warming and other subjects. Here is the link:

With all good wishes,
Charles Pierce
