May 68: An Empty Legacy

The 68's gave nothing of value, in fact they destroyed all the values around them in a haze of pot smoking and hallucigenic drugs and now they believe they have the right to opinionate against very other who does not share some utopist psychotic fantasies and abominations of multicultidiocy and political correct dogmas, today they have evovled into sloppy pea-brained halal hippies.

From: The Brussels Journal

Here are some excerpts from an excellent essay on May 68 by a writer named Cyril de Pins. Several French websites have mentioned the article:

We are the heirs of May 1968. It is indubitable. But we no longer see ourselves only in that light. Those, like myself, who were born after 1970, only inherited what was bequeathed to them by the preceding generation, the generation of those who were in their twenties during the springtime festivities regarded by so many as a revolution. And this heritage is indeed impoverished: it consists of a juvenile proclivity to publicly complain and denounce, of an unlimited and blind confidence in youth and in oneself, of a hatred of the principle of authority, and of a hateful rejection of the past.

The Communist Internationale said, "Let us make tabula rasa of the past." May 1968 and its lyrical little soldiers did just that, shouting: "Run, comrade, the old world is behind you."

The least one can say is that they pretty much succeeded: there is no longer a student who knows who Danton or Marat were, who can distinguish a Romanesque church from a wash house, or who can even say who Lenin and Mao were. Students today use history in the same way as their elders: history is good only insofar as it proposes imperfect rough drafts of our modernity.

He describes how spoiled and privileged the generation of May 68 was. How they had never known war, how they had been lavished with the excellent educational resources France then possessed, including knowledge of the regional dialects.

Like all spoiled children, they destroyed what they received, what history had preserved for so long, those languages, those traditions, the instruction inherited from the Jesuits and spread by the Republic. They replaced all of that with their whims, their fantasies and by the memory of their youth.

My generation is the first to have received nothing: no regional language [...], no training in the classics (Latin and Greek classes have closed almost everywhere despite efforts by our elders, such as Madame Jacqueline Worms de Romilly), and what is more serious, no national culture: our students know almost nothing about the history of France, of its classical literature, and their knowledge of French is confused and lax, a consequence of the only demand that is ever really made on them – self-expression (as opposed to just expression). [...]

We received only the narcissism of history's spoiled children and their "feel good" notions; we received no knowledge, no savoir-faire. Therefore, is it not up to our generation to judge the record of May 1968 and the actions of its participants, rather than the generation that has already done enough to deaden the minds of its descendants and deprive them of culture? But THEY are the only ones we hear! For forty years they are all we hear, as if France had begun with their shouts and their slogans; every day they strut, like veterans of a war, when in fact they are recent pensioners. The REAL resistance fighters, who owed their careers to their commitment, had both courage and modesty.

The crisis of French identity is not difficult to explain. Since May 1968, and in conformity with the credo of its participants, France is considered as the land of human rights, and nothing else. [...]

France is a country of rich and numerous traditions: scientific, linguistic, historical and academic. It is a land with an inexhaustible patrimony, but it is threatened by indifference (more and more churches and châteaux are being destroyed one after the other by deadly transformations, or simply from neglect).

The actors of May 68 hate the idea of heritage so much that they believe it can never be sufficiently blamed, or sufficiently shackled, for to them there is no greater iniquity than a heritage. [...] The actors of May 68 have forgotten one important thing: any inheritance is accompanied by debts. They were the first to enjoy the fruits of an inheritance without recognizing the debt, beginning with the one contracted on receiving the inheritance - the obligation to transmit it to the next generation. This debt is a debt left not only by those who preceded us, but also, and especially, it is a debt that ties us to those who will follow us and to whom we must entrust memory and knowledge, for they are the future.

What will those of my generation transmit to those of the next generation? A nation and a history are not built with a good conscience and a few comforting symbols. A nation is built from memories and from the language, not on the sidewalks shouting useless slogans - the same ones for thirty years (the only songs the young have in common with their elders are the very ugly songs of the demonstrations...)

Those who acquired their pensions by throwing bricks would like us to admire them for having enjoyed their privileges for so long without sharing them, and at the same time to shed a heart-felt tear over their exploits. It is not odious any more, it is obscene.

The Meaning of May 68: Population Replacement and Hatred of the West

Last week student demonstrations in Paris revived fears of another May 68, although so far there is no indication that an event of any magnitude is about to happen. Gérard Pince, economist and founding member of the Blue Revolution attended one of the rallies and tells us why this is no May 68:

Having returned from the demonstration by high-school students, I can relate to you impressions that the media will be very careful not to show. [There were] around 10,000 persons. The front section of the parade was entirely composed of blacks and North Africans waving flags imprinted with the Islamic crescent. They represented one to two thirds of the total number of persons in the groups that followed. Let us remember that this sampling of students reflects the face of tomorrow’s France.
I must say, in all objectivity, that this youth demonstrated no hostility towards the police. I even saw a group of young black girls dance at Place de la Nation singing “Cops! We love you!” The rally broke up without any major incidents, at least as far as I know. I want to reassure you, a repetition of May 68 is not in the offing. We are witnessing a different phenomenon: that of our replacement.

Ivan Rioufol writes for Le Figaro. His column, though relatively cautious in tone, is still a voice of tradition and conservatism in the otherwise uninspiring French media. He also has been maintaining a personal blog within the context of Le Figaro's website, and offers some thoughts on May 68:

Yesterday on France 2, a good documentary put May 68 in the turbulent perspective of the times that witnessed revolts in Eastern Europe (Prague), the United States and even Mexico City. And yet, should we enshrine May 68 to this point, and present it as the liberation everywhere of a narrow and stifling society? The baby boomers had not even waited for 1968 to begin its entry into society. The Neuwirth Law had authorized the pill in 1967. A natural movement towards change was in the air. France would have become modernized without May 68. We can grant it is role as an accelerator. But we can also defend the notion that this “revolution”, because of educational and political inevitabilities, caused us to lose time. May 68 also aided in the setbacks and weakening that France is experiencing today.

As indicated, Rioufol remains cautiously optimistic about the situation today. He is unwilling to go so far as to use the term “irreparable damage,” or to analyze the tremendously coercive forces that cowed people back then into complying with the demands of violent infantile rebels. The powers that be (and that were) were clearly terrified and/or easily bought. This fear transformed our societies into politically correct robots, political correctness being a form of exorcism to chase away the devils of racial differences, intellectual inequalities and criminal intent. By denying the existence of racial and intellectual differences, or the hatred within the heart of criminals, they thought these unpleasant truths would simply vanish. And so the taboo on free speech became a type of "magic" employed to chase away demons that people simply could not face.

Besides Daniel Cohn-Bendit another celebrated communist from May 68, Benjamin Stora, manages to stay in the news in France. Stora, born in Algeria, is an historian and a specialist of Algerian immigration to France. He teaches North African history and French colonization at the Paris VIII-St-Denis branch of the University of Paris. A militant Trotskyist in May 1968, he was, until 1986, a member of the International Communist Organization, a group formed in 1965 as a result of a split within the Communist Party that had taken place in 1952. In 2007 he campaigned for Ségolène Royal. French readers can view a video of his rant in praise of Royal, in which he also extols the return of the authentic socialism which he had hoped would follow her election.

Stora wants to revive May 68 with ethnic minorities as his new tools for overturning the government. These ethnic minorities must “decolonize” themselves, the way Algeria broke French colonial rule. The French weblog Le Conservateur posted this critique of comments he made last week on France Culture radio:

[Benjamin Stora] proudly announced, with a tear in his eye, that 2007 was that last electoral victory of the Right, because soon new ethnic battalions “would upset the balance definitively.” Today Mr. Stora wanted to put us on our guard: staying within the spirit of May 68 is not a matter of commemoration but of mobilization. What is needed, according to him, is to instill in ethnic minorities and the underprivileged (including the notorious migrants created by the Left for its own political purposes) a taste for challenging the established orders, in particular the “ethnic order,” by drawing inspiration from the “decolonization” movements.

Must we be reminded of how the little powdered prophets of the salons of 1788 ended up, […] massacred by the very “tools” they claimed to be manipulating, and who completely escaped their control. Beware, Mr. Stora... You were forced to leave your native Algeria to save your skin. Your “protégés” might very well remind you one day that they had already chased you from “their territory.”

Stora’s thinking illustrates perfectly that massive immigration is a tool invented by the extreme Left to shatter European society, and to destroy it. There is no humanism here; his ideas reek of hatred. It is not freedom that Mr. Stora and his clique are calling for, but blood!

If Le Conservateur sounds a warning, its readers go further in denouncing Benjamin Stora, calling him an agent of the government in the service of Sarkozy’s multi-cultural project, and wondering how anyone can tolerate the Trotskyist and Maoist propaganda that spews forth every morning on France Culture radio.

Netherlands: Cartoonist arrested for discrimination

The Dutch are caving in to fascism and threats - What a disgrace.

From: Dutchnews

MPs from across the political spectrum have urged justice minister Ernst Hirsch
Ballin to explain the arrest of a cartoonist on discrimination charges.

The cartoonist, who operates under the pseudonym Gregorius Nekschot, was
arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of publishing work which discriminates against
Muslims and 'people with dark skins'. The arrest follows a complaint made
against Nekschot in 2005.

Nekschot, an established cartoonist whose work features in magazine HP/De Tijd
amongst others, was released after spending Tuesday night in custody. His house
was searched and a quantity of work taken away.

In a statement, the public prosecution department said cartoonists are by
nature satirical and often insulting to others. However, Nekschot's work broke
the boundaries of freedom of expression and artistic licence, the department
said.

'We are raising this affair at the highest level,' Labour MP Ton Heerts told
news agency ANP. 'Taking legal action against a cartoonist goes too far.'

Geert Wilders, leader of the anti-immigration party PVV, accused the public
prosecution department of have dictatorial tendencies. The arrest of the
cartoonist is 'outrageous and tasteless,' Wilders said.

The public prosecution department is currently investigating a number of formal
complaints against Wilders, who describes Islam as a backward and violent
religion.

Happy Birthday ISRAEL!!! ISRAEL at 60

Happy birthday Israel and may you live in happiness and one day be in security forever!
With the mainstream left and Socialists picking up where the Nazis left their anti-semitic hatred and scapegoat for evil, today the left biased political elite and progressives call it 'boycott' instead of 'Judenfrei' and 'Anti-Zionism' (Israel's right to exist is also Zionism) instead of Adolf Hitler's 'Judentum', boycotts carried out by left-wing unions of Israelis and Jews, notably the UCU in the UK, the left-wing, the Socialists, Labor parties and Social Democrats today follow the same pattern as the Nazis did in the 1930's starting with eliminating Jews from public life and academia as well as making life difficult for prominent Jews - The left-wing today collaborates and apologize for ideologies who call for genocides of a people, for the destruction of a state, needless to say that the dear socialists, social democrats, progressive and halal hippies regardless if they are not carrying out the evils and atrocities but like to think it is 'the others' they all have blood on ther hands, the UN and the so called 'Human rights orgs' too.

Long Live ISRAEL!

From: Human Events
By Nile Gardiner

Few countries in modern times could claim the title “warrior nation”. The United States and Great Britain definitely can, and Israel certainly qualifies for this distinction too. Today is the 60th anniversary of Israel’s founding and a reminder of the heroism of the Israeli people. This tiny nation of just 7 million has fought seven wars and survived in the face of insurmountable odds, international hostility and massive intimidation, a tribute to the strength of the human spirit and the willingness of Israelis to fight to defend their freedom.

Six decades on from its establishment, Israel continues to fight for its very existence, and remains the most persecuted nation in the history of the United Nations. The UN has left no stone unturned in its hounding of Israel, a relentless display of hatred and prejudice that shames the world body. Despite being the freest, most democratic country in the Middle East, Israel is the whipping boy for the UN’s Human Rights Council, a discredited basket case of an organization that boasts some of the world’s worst human rights offenders as members, including China, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Russia and Egypt. Roughly three quarters of the HRC’s resolutions in its first year were aimed at Israel, while brutal dictatorships such as Zimbabwe, North Korea, Burma and Sudan barely merited a mention.

Needless to say, the United Nations has remained silent in the face of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s threats to wipe Israel “off the map”, much as the League of Nations dithered in the shadow of Nazi Germany just two generations ago. Iran’s dictator doesn’t mince his words when referring to Israel, calling it a “filthy entity” that “will sooner or later fall” in a speech this January, as well as “a dirty microbe” and “a savage animal” at a rally in February.

There are distinct echoes of the heated discussions in Europe and the United States over the intentions of Adolf Hitler in the mid to late 1930s in today’s debate over Iran. Then as now, there was a constant barrage of calls from political elites on both sides of the Atlantic for direct talks with a totalitarian regime and illusory hopes of reaching out to “moderates” within the government, a general downplaying of the threat level, widespread inaction and hand-wringing, and staggering complacency over levels of defense spending.

The brutal lessons of 20th Century history taught that there can be no negotiation with this sort of brutal dictatorship, and it would be a huge strategic error for the West to do so. There will be endless debate in international policy circles over Tehran’s nuclear intentions, but the essential fact remains that the free world is faced with a fundamentally evil and barbaric regime with a track record of backing international terrorism, repressing its own people, issuing genocidal threats against its neighbors, and of enabling the killing of Allied forces in Iraq.

It is imperative that the United States and Great Britain, Tel Aviv’s two main allies, remain united in defending Israel in the face of Iranian aggression. Iran poses the most significant threat to Israel’s security since its founding, as well as the biggest state-based threat to the West of our generation. As Israeli President Shimon Peres warned earlier this year, “a nuclear armed Iran will be a nightmare for the world.”

As the world’s largest sponsor of international terror, and a dangerous rogue regime hell-bent on acquiring nuclear weapons capability, Iran must be stopped. The Jerusalem Post reported just yesterday that the latest Israeli intelligence assessment is that “the Islamic Republic will master centrifuge technology and be able to begin enriching uranium on a military scale this year. According to the new timeline, Iran could have a nuclear weapon by the middle of next year.” This is several years ahead of the flawed assessment of the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), and gives added urgency to the debate over the Iranian nuclear issue.

Every effort must be made to increase the pressure on Tehran through Security Council and European economic, military and political sanctions, including a ban on investment in Iranian liquefied natural gas operations. In particular, extensive pressure must be applied on Switzerland to halt a $30 billion contract between Zurich-based contractor EGL and the National Iranian Gas Export Company.

At the same time, Washington and London must make preparations for the possible use of force against Iran’s nuclear facilities if the sanctions route fails. In addition, the U.S. and UK must be prepared to retaliate against Iranian aggression in Iraq, with Tehran continuing to wage a proxy war against Coalition and Iraqi forces. As General Petraeus made clear in his recent testimony before Congress, Iran is actively supplying mortars, rockets and explosives to Shiite militia groups in Iraq. It has also been revealed by Coalition spokesmen in the last few days that the elite Quds force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has been using Hizbollah guerillas to train Iraqi militias at a training camp at Jalil Azad near Tehran.

As tensions with Iran escalate, and as the stakes are dramatically raised, Britain and the United States should support the admission of Israel into NATO, offering a collective security guarantee in the face of Tehran’s saber-rattling. Israel, which spends nearly 10 percent of its GDP on defense (in contrast to the NATO average of 2.1 percent), would be a major net asset to the Alliance, possessing a first rate army, air force and navy, as well as outstanding intelligence and special forces capability. There is likely to be strong initial opposition to the move by some European countries, including France and Belgium, but it is a debate that NATO should have sooner rather than later.

The next few years will be a critical time for Israel, as it faces the prospect of the rise of a nuclear Iran that has pledged its destruction. If Israel is to survive another 60 years it is imperative that the West confronts the gathering storm and stands up to the biggest threat to international security since the end of the Cold War.

The United States, Great Britain and their allies must reject the illusory promise of “peace in our time” conjured by advocates of an appeasement approach towards the Mullahs of Iran, and ensure the world does not face a totalitarian Islamist regime armed with nuclear weapons. The freedom that Israel currently enjoys was secured through the sacrifice of her soldiers through several wars in the Middle East, as well as the earlier sacrifice of American and British troops in World War Two. It is the same liberty that we cherish today in the West, freedom that must be fought for and defended.

Combating Jihadi Terrorism: Problems, Processes and Prospects

Political correctness is the worse of evils, it prevents people from think and to speak, it also hampers the individual's ability to make a value judgment.

By Dr Babu Suseelan, Source: Faith Freedom International

Few days ago, I was in a restaurant in New York . The newspaper I had been reading reported the death of nine Jewish people by a Jihadi suicide bomber. An Arab Muslim sitting nearby screamed right into my face "for Jewish people we need more bombs". On the same day, four American marines were killed in Iraq by an explosive device planted by an Islamic terrorist. The next day 50 people including children and women were killed in a bomb explosion in Karachi . Last month a Taliban terrorist beheaded several infidel engineers working in Kabul . Muslim terrorists in Kashmir murdered 45 Kashmiri Hindus. Bombs planted by Jihadi terrorists exploded in the temple town of Varanasi, India killing twenty-five people. Attacking religious centers of infidels, schools, crowded shopping centers, torching people alive in passenger trains, bombing of hotels and rioting and disrupting public life by Jihadi terrorists is a daily occurrence in Israel, India, and all over the world. Last week, forty-five people were killed in a bomb exploded by Jihadi terrorists in Egypt . Several hundred people were killed or maimed by Muslim terrorists in Algeria . Few weeks ago Islamic Thinkers Society of America demonstrated in front of the Israeli Consulate in New York.

Shouting death to America they were carrying placards with the following slogans:

Israeli Zionists what do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way

The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way

Israel won't last long. Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel

No wonder they call you sons of apes and pigs because that's what you are

May the FBI burn in Hell!

CIA burn in Hell!

Mossad burn in Hell

Homeland Security burn in Hell

Islam will dominate the world

The following item was posted inside a major Mosque in London :

"If a kafir (non-Muslim) is going into a Muslim country and he is walking by, he is like a cow. Anyone can take him. That is the Islamic rule. If Muslims cannot take them, you know, and sell them in the market, then kill them. It is ok".

("Extremism Shows Its Tenacity" The Wall Street Journal, August 15, 2005)

These episodes and continuous Jihadi terrorist attacks in India , Israel , Great Britain , Spain , Italy , Sudan , and Indonesia have proven Islamic proclivity for terrorism. Jihadi terrorism around the world is unabated and continues to claim thousands of innocent lives each year. The media is replete with reports of terrorism, bombing, riots, arson, honor killing and beheading by jihadi terrorists. We are likely to encounter the 'conversation about Jihadi terrorism' wherever we turn.

One wonders what kind of culture promotes killing of innocent people. In all Islamic countries, war, violence, riot, terrorism and hostility against non-believers serve Muslims to establish a culturally coherent community. Jihadi culture is based on war against non-believers. Jihadi culture supports shouting "foreign pigs", harassing tourists with a Jewish name in Islamic countries, characterize non-Muslims as Kafirs, shouting Allahu Akbur while beheading infidels. For Jihadis, culture means ritualized violence. Muslims internalize this intolerance of no-believers; and the violent Islamic culture provides internal cohesiveness and unity and stability, and a sense of security and action guidelines for violence. Many hostile social practices against non-Muslims are organized around it, and it provides a rationale and support for ritualized violence.

Muslims have a commonality of understanding Islamic rituals and built in cultural hostility towards non-Muslims. In Islam, there is no such thing as listening to your conscience, or questioning of conscience. The history of Islam shows this trend clearly. Islamic clergy justifies killing of infidels according to the laws of Allah, in which a kafir, labeled as Dhimi cannot be regarded as equal to a Muslim, and cannot have any human rights. The Koran, Hadith and Sura clearly state:

Allah is the enemy of unbelievers and Dhimis are the enemies of Allah

In Allah's eyes, unbelievers are the worst of beasts, and the enemies of Allah

Neither Allah can be expected to grant equal rights to his enemies,

Nor do these enemies deserve rights equal to those of Muslims

For centuries, Jihadis have resorted to mass murder, oppression, intimidation, kidnapping, terrorism, and assassination in the name of Islam. And today, only the threat, the methods, and goals differ. Now, Jihadi terrorism is one of the greatest single threats to the existing world order. Modern day jihadi terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Lasker-Tobia, Al Bader, Taliban, Al Queda, Tehreek E-Jihadi, and Hizbul Mujahadeen virtually ensure that Jihadi terrorism will be with us for many years to come.

DEADLY JIHADI IDEOLOGY

It is absolutely essential to understand the deadly ideology, which transforms simple human beings into suicide bombers and terrorists. We cannot deal with the problem of terrorism until and unless we completely comprehend the ideology which extols the virtues of violence and preaches hatred, incite violence and encourage its followers to instill terror in the heart of those who do not believe in Allah, compels its followers to be harsh to unbelievers, tells them that ultimate abode of infidels is Hell, directs them to bind them, burn them in the fire of Hell. Jihad is a doctrine of permanent warfare. Jihad, the Holy War and terrorism are almost synonymous terms. Islam has divided humanity in two parts: Dar-Ul-Harb and Dar-Ul-Islam. Dar-Ul-Islam means the nations where Islam has been firmly established and Dar-ul-Harb means the nation, which is yet to be subjugated by Islam.

Prophet Mohamed has poisoned the minds of Muslims, by telling them that Kafirs are not just nuisances, but are enemies of Allah, emphasizing repeatedly not to question the morality of this conclusion, but to follow Allah's system, and that Islamic system has descended to earth from Allah's Janat (Islamic heaven). There is no God but Allah, and all other Gods are false Gods, they are the works of shaitaan (Devil). Don't listen to these Gods. They will take you to Hell. It is the bounden duty of each and every Muslim to keep fighting till the rule of Allah is established in all over the world. The killing of 300 innocent children in a school in Beslan, Russia, bomb blast in a train in Spain in which more than 200 people were killed, bomb blast in UK, attack on World Trade Center in New York, riots and arson in Paris, destruction of Danish Embassy in Beirut after publication of prophet Mohamed's cartoon in Denmark, all are part of that grand strategy to frighten and terrorize infidels and coerce them to accept Islamic domination.

EXCUSE THEORIES OF JIHADI TERRORISM

Liberal leftists, communists and Islmo-fascists have come forward with sophisticated, meaningless excusing conditions for Jihadi terrorism. Excusing Jihadi terrorism contains a mountain of unsubstantiated, irrelevant details including rapid social change, western, Israeli interference and social injustice. What is lacking is a deep examination of the ideological issues promoting Jihadis to commit terrorist acts. The leftists promote excuse theories despite knowing Jihadi cruelty and they care little about the victims. They produce and promote irrational arguments that are too flimsy and misplaced. These phony, precarious excuses excuse Jihadi murderers and view terrorists in a favorable moral light.

Excusing Jihadi suicide bombers and terrorists beheading innocent infidels with speculative theories will have more deleterious consequences. Liberals and leftists are misguiding and misdirecting the public authorizing an open season for terrorism. Fictitious causation hampers liberal's ability to affirm mens rea and preclude their responsibility altogether. These phony excuse theories are not justifiable defense of Islamic terrorism and are not realistic and persuasive. Recently some media pundits have joined the bandwagon to expand the number and range of excusing conditions without merit. These irrational, liberal excuses are a grievous insult to justice and morality. Liberal's conditioning propaganda is to soften the general public for the long-term purpose of supporting Islamic terrorists.

It is vital to understand that Islamic menace exists because of liberal's habitual tolerance of intolerance. Their tolerance of intolerance is not tolerance. This type of pathological tolerance, sobering sympathy for Jihadis and stony indifference to victims is immoral and barbaric.

Democratic societies cannot survive or prevent terrorism with phony, meaningless, and manufactured theories of Jihadi terrorism. Uncritical acceptance of false, unsubstantiated root cause theories peddled by communists and leftist liberals will have disastrous consequences for everyone. Such mental misdirection and deliberate psycho-linguistic-programming will result in our psycho paralysis. Free thinking, peace loving people would be wise to make a motivational analysis of such pseudo intellectual's extreme insensitivity to the victims of terrorism, and syrupy sympathy for Jihadi terrorists.

Jihadi terrorism is not over the policies of the U.S, Israel , U.S, or due to globalization, rapid social change, economic inadequacies, and lack of self-esteem. Rather, terrorism is stemming from the ideology, the cognitive-behavior process, and criminal thinking of jihadi Muslims.

DEMOCRACY AND ISLAM ARE INCOMPATIBLE

It is not uncommon to promote the theory that introducing democracy in Islamic nations can eliminate Jihadi terrorism. It is divorced from empirical evidence. It is wishful thinking over reality. Every empirical study of Islamic nations has demonstrated beyond doubt that Islam and the governmental system known as democracy are indeed incompatible. Democracy is the rule of the majority and Islam is the will of Allah. Either the society accepts the will of the majority or one accepts that society is ordered by the divine will of Allah. All Islamic societies accept the divine will of Allah. Promoting democracy in Islamic societies without breaking the closed Islamic dogma is futile and wasteful. Pakistan , Bangladesh , Iran , Sudan and Hamas of Palestine claim that the government is democratically elected. Yet these Islamic nations breed, sustain and promote terrorism. So here is the question: "Are Islam and democracy compatible?" It does not appear that one can have freedom of expression, an important principle of democracy, and Islam in the same place. Their ideology is spawned around hate and masked under the label of democracy. Muslims have no freedom to scrutinize Islam, and when we give up freedom to think and criticize, there is no democracy. Unless we break the closed Islamic dogma and force Muslims to freedom from their slavery, we cannot have genuine democracy in Islamic nations.

MISGUIDED MUSLIMS: A MISNOMER

There is one more misconception that Jihadi terrorists are misguided Muslims and that they are not real Muslims. The Jihadi terrorists are not misguided Muslims. They are the real Muslims doing what their prophet had instructed them to do. Several misguided leftists also nurture the fallacious notion that Islam is peace and Muslims are peace-loving people. This assumption is based on ignorance and lack of understanding of the brutal past of Islam. Non-Islamic countries in Asia and the Middle East have been suffering from jihadi terrorism for hundreds of years. Jews, Hindus and Zoroastrians have been slaughtered by Muslim Jihadis for centuries.

BRUTAL HISTORY OF ISLAM

Throughout its recorded history, fundamentalist Islam tried to establish Dar-Ul Islam through Jihadi terrorism. Islamic past is replete with war, conquest, death and destruction. Islam caused the disappearance of several civilization and millions of innocent people throughout Europe, Middle East and Asia . Muslims invaders are known for ethnic cleansing, burning of libraries, destruction of temples and educational institutions and cultural institutions and artworks of historical significance. There were 24% Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan in 1947 when India was divided. After Pakistan was declared as an Islamic nation, reign of terror, murder and rape was let loose against Hindus and Sikhs. They were given two choices either to convert to Islam or face death. At present, the number of Hindus has been reduced to 1 percent in Pakistan . In East Pakistan, now Bangladesh , there were 35% Hindus and Christians in 1947. They were also tortured and butchered in Jihadi tradition. Many were killed or forcefully converted. Today non-Muslims comprise only 8% percent of the population in Bangladesh . In 1989, in India ruled Kashmir , 350,000 Hindus were driven out by Jihadis. They are still languishing in refuge camps outside Kashmir . India has faced several deadly Jihadi terrorist incidences since 1947. Muslim Jihadis are engaged in riots, violence, bombing, murder, assassination, looting and terrorism against Hindus in India and it is unabated. Bombs are exploding daily in India . Historians have said that the Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in the history of the world.

Koran and Hadith encourage and motivate Muslims to fight against infidels. Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs and all non-believers are target for attack. They often seek to identify infidels as targets because of their ideological beliefs. Jihadis justify terrorism by rationalization and show no fear, guilt, remorse, shame or empathy. Islam is a control system, a closed dogma and it is designed to exclude dialogue, outside input, and forbid freethinking. Whatever Muslims do, wherever they go, Muslims are mandated to maintain status quo of the closed paradigm. They cannot tolerate the existence of different versions of the closed Islamic paradigm. Differences within the Islamic paradigm are settled with war (Sunni against Shia, Ahamedia, and Bahai). In so doing, this provides more conviction for those committed to the paradigm tightly. Islam cannot and will not tolerate any emerging cosmic, epistemological, scientific, philosophical concepts if it is a threat to core components of Islam. Muslims are forced to neutralize new ideas by the power and control system of the Islamic clergy. Islamic states use force and other control mechanisms including Fatwa to maintain equilibrium and the closed Islamic thought system. Their goal is to make the world as Darul-Islam (the house of Islam) where Islam rules and the non-Muslims world as Darul-Harb (the house of war) that has to be conquered. The non-Muslim world should be terrorized, intimidated, oppressed and conquered for Muslims.

The Islamic paradigm's primary core belief is in a powerful Allah, and Allah has revealed his will through Mohamed, the only and the last prophet. All other means of knowing other than through Mohamed are subject to error. Any emerging knowledge of even the most insignificant nature cannot be true if it is in any way incompatible with Allah's revelation. The Islamic system has very strong prescriptive implications. All norms and social practices are rooted in Allah's will. Allah's divine "will" cannot be thwarted and must prevail always Thus the Islamic paradigm may influence anything a Muslim might do or think about.

CRIMINAL THINKING OF JIHADI MUSLIMS

Islamic thinking patterns are very similar to criminal and addictive thinking. Jihadi Muslims, addicts and criminals say it is okay to violate others (infidels) or their property. Jihadi Muslims, addicts and criminals think it is okay to infringe the freedom of others as much as you like and to do whatever you need to get high.

The main feature of this addictive, criminal, Islamic thinking is denial. They construct a wall of denial and hide behind their wall of denial and justify the use of force and deceptive techniques no matter what harm they cause to others. They have no fear, guilt, shame, empathy, and remorse and engage in constant blame game. They are obsessed with their desire to hurt others and march towards a self-destructive road through their dysfunctional behavior. Obsessed with their addictive/criminal thinking, they think and act irrationally, because their thoughts and behavior revolve around their obsessive thoughts, false justification and erroneous excuses about their criminal acts. The continued pattern of such thinking and behavior leads to destructive acts. When thinking errors become thinking patterns the stage is set for continual, habitual destructive behavior. To stay in their denial, they blame the victims, they lie; invent imaginary causes, twists facts-anything that serve their addictive/criminal thinking and deadly actions. They are governed by the pleasure principle. They seek pleasure by inflicting pain on others. The addicts, criminals and Jihadi Muslims have a tendency to 'Push' responsibility for their actions to the outside ( i.e., blaming circumstances, society, or even the victim). They exhibit grandiose ideas and are reluctant to accept personal responsibility for their destructive behavior. Instead of critical, constructive or concrete thinking, or taking purposeful actions, they tend to show a false sense that they can do anything and blame others. Like criminals with criminal thinking, Jihadi Muslims think the rules don't apply to them and they do not recognize rights of others, and con innocent people, and compel others into doing what they want. The greatest obstacle in successful prevention and cure for terrorism is the denial mechanism, and addictive/criminal-thinking pattern of Jihadi Muslims.

PATHWAY TO MADNESS

How do Muslims train Jihadi terrorists? Jihadi terrorists are indoctrinated and socialized into deviant behavior at an early age in Islamic religious schools called madras's. Islam is a closed political dogma disguised in ecclesiastical terms and it is designed to exclude dialogue, outside input, and it forbids freethinking. They are brainwashed into the closed, dysfunctional paradigm and they are mandated to maintain the rigid, reductionist dogma wherever they go, whatever they do. Muslims are trained to neutralize new ideas, reject any paradigm shift, new concepts, theories and rational ideas. Islamic states and Islamic religious leaders use force, other control mechanisms including fatwa to maintain equilibrium and the closed, rigid, dysfunctional thought system. Islamic states spend their resources and energy to reinforce their Islamic closed paradigm and make Islamic societies into 'islands of no change' where individual freedom, human rights, and creativity are curtailed and crushed. In order to maintain their closed Islamic system, Islamic states ignore modern education, human rights, women's liberation, art, literature, science, philosophy and diplomacy. As a result, Muslim fundamentalists never tolerate freethinking, rational ideas, pluralism, secularism, and religious tolerance. The Islamic toxic order is maintained by intimidation, threat and violence. For Muslims, maintaining the closed system is more important than social progress, democracy, and free spirited, creative thinking. This leads Muslims being 'chewed up' by the dogmatic system and they are willing to sacrifice their life through suicide bombing, terrorism, riot, arson, violence and constant war against infidels.

Who are behind Islamic education system? Who are the financiers? Saudi Arabia , Syria , Iran , Libya , Pakistan , Bangladesh , United Arab Emirates and Sudan are providing financial and logistical support for terrorists. Government of India has also earmarked millions of dollars for Islamic education. They train young Muslims and indoctrinate them with rigid, hostile Islamic ideology... There are more than 70,000 Madrasas in Bangladesh and Pakistan training Jihadis to fight in the name of Islam. Jiahdis settled in Europe and USA also finances Jihadi training schools in Pakistan and Bangladesh . Muslim immigrant communities who are alienated from the mainstream society and refuse to assimilate into host countries culture provide support for Jihadi terrorism. The hidden agents of Islam are working overtime behind and on the sidelines of the scene to spread the destructive Jihad dogma into democratic countries. Their ultimate goals are to subvert democracy, and introduce intolerant Sharia type Islam. Islamic clergies funded by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and aided and abetted by immigrant Muslims recruit and indoctrinate Muslims for Jihadi terrorism. They use sophisticated brainwashing techniques to indoctrinate them, provide financial and logistical support and send them to different parts of the world for terrorist acts.

OBSTACLES TO EFFECTIVE TERRORISM PREVENTION

Given that the primary outcome anticipated from terrorism intervention is the protection of the public, efforts to prevent Jihadi terrorism are paramount. Resistance to reform has been evident in Islam. Since its inception, prophet Mohamed resisted various forms of reform including tolerance, freedom, pluralism and democracy. Although resistance to reform has been observed throughout the history of Islam, it has manifested in a variety of defensive mechanisms intended to protect Muslims from becoming aware of unacceptable thoughts.

Reformation in Islam is not possible until Muslims are forced to freedom from their pathological addiction to the rigid, closed dogma. Thus the elimination of resistance is the cornerstone of any counter terrorism strategy.

Resistance serves as a self-protective function for Muslims. Resistance occurs due to their distorted thinking and thinking errors. It seems from Muslims cognitive rejection of explanation of their rigid Islamic dogma that is inconsistent with their pre-existing schema is to preserve their rigid, deadly Islamic dogma. The degree of resistance and the reasons for it are constantly changing. It is imperative that resistance to change could be eliminated through the development of strong paradigm breaking strategies. Effective result oriented programs shall be implemented to reduce or weaken the conditions that maintain resistance.

To further compound the situation, Islamic societies often do not acknowledge that they need to reform Islam. Jihadis view their criminal behavior in an egosyntonic manner. That is, they are relatively unconcerned about their actions. Lack of proper understanding of Islamic culture and its influence on terrorists mask our awareness of terrorist psychology. We need a systematic and comprehensive assessment of Islamic social constructs for the successful planning, implementation and delivery of appropriate and effective plan of actions. Muslim's temperamental and personality factors conducive to criminal activity such as grandiosity, callousness, impulsivity, anger, egocentrism, and poor problem solving skills are all potential factors to consider, since they can influence Jihadi terrorists to engage in terrorist acts. Attitudinal characteristics that should be addressed include antisocial attitudes, values and beliefs and their perception of non-believers. Best prevention policies and strategies must start with good assessment, knowing Jihadi terrorist's ideology, motivational level, cognitive style, criminal risk and need. If we can study their criminal ideology, and target their criminal risk and need, then we can design more effective plan of action to prevent and counter terrorism.

The policies of preventing and countering terrorism have changed dramatically since September 2001. Currently western democratic nations are engaged in identifying, arresting, and prosecuting Jihadi terrorists. High-intensity prevention and detention policies and programs are probably a step in the right direction. But here too, if Islamic societies do not accept change and reform islam the chances are very high they will revert back into old criminal behaviors and most likely resort to terrorism. What more can be done to that is not already being done? We currently point to the amount of dollars we spent, the number of people we have employed in security, and we show that we have arrested several terrorists. However, we still have little to show in the way of winning the war on terrorism. We have enacted several security policies and introduced several high tech programs. Although these policies may be understandable within the boarder political, societal and cultural context, they are loosely related to the root cause of Jihadi terrorism. Identifying, imprisoning and detaining individual Jiahdi terrorists tend to have less impact. The same is true of negotiation with Islamic militants, appeasement, economic assistance, and political truce. Some of these less appropriate policies and plan of action have been found to have negative effects. Various types of policies and strategies are relatively successful in the short term, but will fail over the long term. There are many inconsistencies and blind spots in these legal, military, economic strategies.

We need to develop high-intensity programs including psycho-linguistic programming, cognitive-behavior restructuring strategies and psychological warfare to break the closed Islamic paradigm. A powerful tool that may help us to break the rigid Islamic paradigm and win the war on terror is the media. We need films, videos, TV channels and Internet games, audiocassettes, videocassettes made available to the public that deals strictly with Jihadi terrorism and related issues. On the film and TV shows, there could be stories of victims, reformed terrorists, and what's going on in their lives now and "were are they now feature", stories of oppressed women in Islamic countries, honor killing, and stories of women and teenage suicide bombers.

The challenge before us is to translate all available legal, military, economic, political, psychological and social concepts and strategies to eliminate Jihadi terrorism once for all. Jihadi terrorism could be wiped out from the face of the earth only democratic nations including USA, UK, Russia, Israel, France, Japan and India join together and take concrete plan of actions to destroy the deadly Jihadi terrorism and the dogmatic, reductionist ideology that sustains and promotes Jihadi terrorism.

Remember, many of us have never been stripped of our freedoms, because we haven't the slightest clue of what if we have to wake up one day and have our freedom taken away, and that is why it is so much more important for us to take the responsibility of understanding what is truly going on in the name of Islam. Therefore, we should not wait until our freedom is torn and weak. Freedom is not free until we fight for it. It is the responsibility and obligation for every peace loving, free people to protect, preserve and promote freedom and also force Muslims to freedom.

France: A New Movement Forms

This is good news for Europe, France is waking up and just as important is the French tradition of 'laicite' or in other words secularism, freedom of thought and expression, liberte, egalite, fraternity are also values born from our liberal European culture, however those freedoms we as a civilized European people have taken for granted are under threat from epistophobes, tribalism, barbarism and a religious ideology of supremacism with an agenda to re-introduce a dark-age scenario with all it includes of primitive barbarism.
Also the initiative is a broad political coalition and to be honest, Jean Marie Le Pen is a slight fool and a primadonna in my opinion, what Europe need is a broad political spectrum to resist barbarism and islamization of our beautiful Europe and sophisticated civilization.

An initiative to watch closely in France - Vive la France!

From: Brussels Journal

After conservative victories in Italy and England, are the French finally finding their way to a new and healthy alternative to both Jean-Marie Le Pen and Nicolas Sarkozy?

The websites are talking about a new movement that has been formed the Nouvelle Droite Populaire (NDP), composed of defectors from Le Pen's Front National, members of Bruno Mégret's MNR (National Republican Movement), and other nationalist, sovereignist and regionalist groups, parties and individuals. This is not a political party but an assembly of like-minded individuals who espouse a policy of both decentralization, i.e., regionalism, and nationalism. After an initial meeting on March 29 to lay the groundwork, a second meeting on April 27 adopted the official name which translates as New Popular Right. Their website outlines the group's goals:

This structure is not a political party and has no intention of aggravating existing divisions. It is, on the contrary, an organization for the assembly and mobilization of energies that will work towards the reformation of the national, regional and French-identity based Right. It is possible to belong to the movement without giving up one's membership in a political party or another existing organization.

The fundamental principles of the steering committees are as follows:

1 - Refusal of immigration and Islamization
2 - Defense of regional, national and European identities
3 - Application of national and European preferences
4 - Rehabilitation of family values and fundamental principles of our civilization
5 - Freeing of individual, political and economic energies
6 - Construction of a political, independent and powerful Europe, faithful to its Hellenic and Christian roots

The steering committees for the New Popular Right will hold a national constitutive convention in Paris on June 1 for the purpose of defining its first campaign themes and implementing the structures of this vital new federation.

Some expression were difficult to render into English, e.g., "identitaire" and "force de rassemblement" which I translated as "French-identity based" and "vital new federation" respectively. Note that "identitaire" can also relate to regional feelings of identity, such as Breton or Alsatian identities.

The above principles are still too vague to be considered as a strong sign of the rebirth of French patriotic nationalism and regionalism, but this is the first real attempt to bring together those who have been disappointed by Le Pen, betrayed by Sarkozy or just left out of the political debate because the only options open to them were unsatisfactory for whatever reason. Here is a statement from Jean-François Touzé, coordinator of the project:
From reading the innumerable commentaries triggered by the announcement of the creation of the Nouvelle Droite Populaire, from the number of requests for contacts (several hundred in one month), from the growing interest on the part of the media for our effort, it is obvious that what we are setting into motion is fulfilling an immense need, not only among those who are working or who have worked in the organizations of the national Right, but also among a great number of our compatriots as exasperated by the impotence of Sarkozy's regime as by the contradictions and suicidal acts of the Front National.

We said it as early as last June: for those who voted for Nicolas Sarkozy, the moment of truth after so many unfulfilled promises would not be long in coming. But we knew also that this disappointment could not, in any case, lead these voters back - even less lead them towards - the Front National when the FN gave them no sign acknowledging that the message of the need for a complete reexamination of structures, methods and strategies of the Right, that is a genuine modernization, had been understood.

This reexamination did not take place. The Front today is behind us.

Other comments at the website also point to the role played by the Front National in the failure of the Right to achieve anything close to success in the recent elections. Bruno Mégret, who defected from the FN in 1998 to form the MNR, is among the founders of the new NDP. He attempted to reconcile temporarily with Le Pen during the presidential election of 2007, but was ignored by both Jean-Marie and his daughter Marine Le Pen. Mégret's collaborator, Florence Mazole, writes:
As the national party headquarters of the MNR has observed, the strategy of a union with the FN did not meet our expectations despite the advantages that were drawn in terms of media coverage and support from partisans of the national Right. During the presidential election, despite the impartial support we gave to Jean-Marie Le Pen, the MNR was not able to wage a campaign [a reminder that Le Pen prevented Mégret from actively campaigning]. During the legislative elections, no agreement was reached and Le Pen and his daughter even placed their own candidate in opposition to Bruno Mégret. They did the same during the municipal elections. No ballot loyal to the union of our parties was ever constituted. (...) A few days before the voting, Le Pen appeared on the evening news and devoted half of his time to attacking Bruno Mégret. As for his daughter, she has stated that she wants the death of the MNR and never ceases to blame its president.

Marine Le Pen has always held Mégret, and his defection from the party, as responsible for the failures of the FN. News reports during the presidential campaign indicated that she was behind the decision to silence Mégret.

Boris Johnson defeated Islamic extremists as well as Ken Livingstone

The socialist left or British labor in the UK is actively and without any doubt catering to muslim votes feeding the crocodile, if anyone remember what Winston Churchill referred to when uttering about feeding the crocodile they will understand what the left are doing today, except with forces and evil people much, much more sinister than the Nazis and Adolf Hitler and his ilk ever was.

Good Red Ken is gone, the pure socialist who gladly accepted money from Venezuela's dictator Hugo Chavez in aid for the London Transport system, maybe he has got a job waiting for him in Caracas together with this friend the moonbat magnet Hugo, oh, Castro is not dead yet.

From: Canada Free Press

This result isn’t just a wonderful victory for Boris and the termination of Livingstone. It’s also a defeat for the campaign – an exceptionally dirty one, at that - waged against Boris by a small band of separatists claiming to act in the name of all London’s Muslims. The effects of Boris’ win will be felt not only in the capital, but nationwide – and they’re worth probing in detail.

This campaign’s aim was to attack Boris as an Islamophobe; swing Muslim voters unanimously behind Livingstone; deliver the election for him; emerge, thereby, as a leading force in British Islam, and thus send an uncompromising message to the main political parties – follow our line, or there’ll be electoral consequences.

Its first shots were fired in January, when it was claimed that over fifty Islamic organisations in London had written to the Guardian endorsing Livingstone. (It later emerged that some of the letter’s signatories had written only in a “personal capacity”.) Its final salvo was the desperate advert, placed recently in the London Bengali paper “Janomot”, implying that Boris, as Mayor, would ban the Koran.

So who was behind this advert, and the campaign as a whole? It was produced by a group called the British Muslim Initiative (BMI). BMI’s website contains a section headed “About Us”. Readers who click on it will learn that the organisation was “formed by justice, peace and human rights campaigners”.

These campaigners presumably include Azzam Tamimi and Anas Tikriti, whose Guardian columns are prominently advertised on the site. Also advertised on the site is “Muslims 4 Ken”, whose leading lights, according to the Evening Standard, are…Anas Tikriti and Azzam Tamini.

Tikriti is a former President of the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) – which is, in effect, the British branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and which, therefore, has links to Hamas. It’s been claimed that Tamini issued communiques on behalf of Hamas during the 1990s. He’s certainly on record as supporting suicide bombings against civilians in Israel.

The Government’s stance towards the Brotherhood, or Ikhwan, is ambiguous. The MAB is one of the four founding members of the Government-supported Mosques and Imams Advisory Board (MINAB). A pamphlet for Policy Exchange by Martin Bright, the New Statesman journalist, caused a sensation when it revealed, in leaked Foreign Office memos, deep divisions within Whitehall about to what degree to engage with the Brotherhood abroad, if at all.

Some in the Foreign Office, and elsewhere, argue that the Brotherhood contains reforming and liberalising elements. This is very hard to square with the blueprint which it recently published for government in Egypt, which called for women and Christians to be banned from the top offices of state, and for a council of clerics with the power to reject legislation deemed to be incompatible with the sharia – the arrangement that pertains in Iran.

But if the Government’s attitude towards the Brotherhood is ambiguous, David Cameron’s view is clear. Tikriti is also President of the Cordoba Foundation, which earlier this year held a public debate with Hizb-ut-Tahrir supported by Tower Hamlets Council. David criticised the decision publicly, and few weeks later asked Gordon Brown in the Commons: “Why has his Government allowed public money to end up in the hands of extremist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood?” Michael Gove has written insightfully about the origins of the Brotherhood in his book “Celsius 7/7”.

Brown, of course, only barred one of the Brotherhood’s leading supporters, Shaykh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, from Britain after pressure from David. Dame Pauline Neville-Jones has summed up Qaradawi’s views succinctly: “He is opposed to secularism, believes that all Muslims (and non-Muslims) shoud live under sharia law, that relations between men and women should be restricted, and wives subject to husbands, that the penalty for homosexuality is death, and that no once Muslim territory should be relinquished.” Qaradawi is also on record as supporting attacks against “the occupation” in Iraq (including, one must assume, British troops).

And Qaradawi, of course, was publicly embraced when he last visited London by…Livingstone. The Egyptian cleric was a key ally in the ex-Mayor’s re-election bid. As, of course, were the MAB, the BMI, and “Muslims 4 Ken”.

There can be no objection whatsoever to these organisations campaigning for and against whoever they wish. If MAB wants to give prominent support on its website to the Respect councillor Salma Yaqoob, who once described 7/7 as a “reprisal attack”, it is of course at liberty to do so. This is a free country, unlike Iran, some of whose governing arrangements the Brotherhood want to replicate.

Similarly, if the BMI and “Muslims 4 Ken” want to back Livingstone and attack Boris, that’s their right. It would be helpful to voters were Tamini and Tikriti to be more upfront about their role, and the assault on Boris as a hater of Islam was a lie, but this is politics, separatist-style, and it’s perhaps unwise to get too excited.

But this Mayoral election has three important lessons for politicians in general and the Conservative Party in particular.

First, there’s no such thing as the Muslim block vote, to be delivered up to suitably grateful candidates by key special interest groups. Very many Muslims will have voted for Boris on Thursday. While I was in Reading last Saturday canvassing with Muslim Conservatives from Wycombe, other local Wycombe Muslims were campaigning in London with David and Boris. They were part of a bigger force led during recent weeks by my colleague Baroness Warsi, Syed Kamall, and London Muslim councillors. It’s significant that Muslim Conservatives are now able to hit the streets in growing numbers – a sign of how the Party is changing and of how our support is widening.

Members of this force were the target, like Boris, of vicious personal assault by separatists. Much of it was conducted (and vigorously contested) by e-mail. This whole campaign seems to have backfired in some quarters. Reports have emerged of exasperated Muslims protesting against the politicisation of their mosques by pro-Livingstone campaigners. British Muslims come from a wide variety of religious, national, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. It’s patronising and insulting to assume that they are a single compliant entity, passively awaiting voting instructions from the Muslim Brotherhood or anyone else.

Second, Muslims’ concerns as voters are much the same as other people’s – safer streets, better transport, transparency, value for money. Muslims want to practice their religion. They don’t believe that this means voting for extremism. We must remain a warm home for mainstream Islam and a cold place for separatism, whether based on religion or race.

Third, a candidate can endure attacks by the MAB, the BMI, Muslims 4 Ken – and other separatists – rise above them, build a broad coalition, and win. He or she doesn’t have to – as Livingstone did – collaborate in the building-up of extremism. Boris will govern in London for people from all religious backgrounds and none. His is a famous Conservative win, and it will help community cohesion as a whole.

Penguins, polar bears and political correctness

Political correctness, the abominable NewSpeak Marxist concept of what our ancestors knew as being heresy - The PC Fascist thought and speech control.

From: Elisabethton Star

It seems as though every time I turn on the TV news or read an article in a newspaper or on the Internet, there is an interview with some "expert" warning about the awful effects of global warming.

A hurricane or tornado strikes some obscure location where the weather is generally calm, or a glacier in Norway or New Zealand recedes over a three-year period, and the "experts" are climbing all over each other to be the first to the microphone so they can scare us with their predictions of seashores rising, coastal towns vanishing and penguins and polar bears dying -- not to mention retirees and sunbathers -- and of course the gullible network reporters are just as eager to broadcast the horrible news. Consider the record number of hurricanes that made landfall in the United States in 2005. . . Global warming! But what about the following year when there were NO landfalls?

"Pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain!" shouted the Mighty Oz. "Don't listen to the naysayers. We've got to do something about this! It's all because of the big corporations spewing hydrocarbons and people driving SUVs!" they say. "Punish the rich! Shut down the corporations! Tax them into oblivion! We must save the planet, and meanwhile, equalize the economy! Save the starving millions!"

What is so amazing about all this is that in the 1970s, "experts" were talking about the coming Ice Age. We were all going to freeze! Now they're saying (and you are either uneducated, uninformed or "politically incorrect" if you disagree) that the earth is warming, with tragic consequences looming on the horizon. There is just way too much carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere!

Any observant student in a junior high school science class knows that humans and animals breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, while plants take in CO-2 and expel oxygen. So if there is a global warming crisis that is caused by excess CO-2 in the atmosphere, then the solution is very simple. Practice birth control, have your pet spayed or neutered and go plant some trees and flowers. You'll not only save the planet but you'll also make it less crowded and help beautify it as well. The overworked animal control officers will love you, and so will the penguins and polar bears.

Al Gore and his environmental "fright squads" might not like you, but should you really care? Gore's award-winning documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth," has been shown to contain some inconvenient UN-truths. Gore himself lives in luxury and is not practicing what he preaches, so why should we believe what he says? I tried watching that film twice. . . I fell asleep both times! Hey, maybe I've found a cure for insomnia.

There will be an occasional crisis somewhere on earth. There will be earthquakes, droughts, tornadoes, tsunamis and other happenings. It's a tragic but inevitable part of life. People will step up to help those in need. Governments and agencies, churches and private individuals will send money and food, and together we will make it through each crisis, grieve for those we've lost and then move on.

In spite of what the "experts" are saying, the earth hasn't slipped off its axis just yet. Miami Beach has not vanished. There is no accurate climate model that can predict what will happen next year, never mind 10, 20, or 100 years down the road.

To me, an "expert" is nothing more than somebody who used to be "pert." And when you take a good look at those who are shouting the loudest and pushing the hardest for "political correctness," being called politically incorrect can't be too bad. Consider it a badge of honor, to be blasted by those who have lost their pertness. Tell them to go plant a tree.

McCain: "Clear Who Hamas Wants to be the Next President"

Does it come as any surprise that moonbat magnet Obama is equally pulling terrorists and islamofascists?
During the Cold War such attitudes as the left is lying for the day is treason, by any account it is.

Source: The Weekly Standard

McCain spoke with bloggers this morning on a number of issues ranging from William Ayers to Rev. Wright to Tony Rezko. Jennifer Rubin noted that Hamas had endorsed Senator Obama and asked McCain whether Obama might have given "an unhelpful signal" to the terrorist group. McCain's response:

All I can tell you Jennifer is that I think it's very clear who Hamas wants to be the next president of the United States. So apparently has Danny Ortega and several others. I think that people should understand that I will be Hamas's worst nightmare....If senator Obama is favored by Hamas I think people can make judgments accordingly.

Earlier this month, Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas, told WABC radio, "We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy." When Obama campaign manager David Axelrod was informed of the endorsement following last week's debate in Pennsylvania, he said it was "flattering when anybody says that Barack Obama would follow in [JFK's] footsteps."

Danish Parliamentary chairman Thor P.: The Mohammed drawings were much needed, - Freedom of speech with no buts

Freedom of expression, there are no 'buts' - Pure and simple - Freedom of expression is the most effective weapon against fascism - Freedom of expression has always been the first victim of fascism and other intolerant ideologies which doesn't wish to be under any deeper and meaningful scrutiny.

The Danes, like the Hobbits, the small people shows the world what values and bravery is all about, and that is something to look up to - Freedom of expression should never be compromised, some things are black or white - No 'buts'.

Translation by TB from Berlingske Tidende for Gates of Vienna

Danish Parliamentary president Thor P.: The Mohammed drawings were much needed

On Sunday Folketinget [the Danish Parliament] in a huge event celebrates the fact that 2,000 people have been granted Danish citizenship this year. Among other things there will be a speech by the chairman of Folketinget Thor Pedersen, who praises the Mohammed drawings for putting a spotlight on freedom of speech.

The Mohammed drawings were nothing less than a most-needed eye-opener, Folketinget’s chairman Thor Pedersen (V) [V stands for Venstre, the ruling party] thinks, who compares the drawings with the old days, when someone stated that the earth was not flat: A needed provocation, the chairman thinks, who does not want to hear any “buts” when talking about freedom of speech.

“It is not illegal to be impolite. It can be unwise at some times, but it is not illegal. Demonstrations can make people feel indignant, but it might actually contribute to the process of a better understanding of life if one says what he means. It was the same when someone once said that the earth was not flat. It turned out that it was good that someone said that the earth was not flat,” says Thor Pedersen.

His message comes as Folketinget celebrates the big day of citizenship in Christiansborg. Last year 2,000 individuals were granted citizenship, and today 600 of them turn up to listen to Thor Pedersen’s speech.

Danish values

His message is that along with citizenship you have to fight for the fundamental values in Denmark — and here Thor Pedersen points specifically to freedom of speech. And that is needed as long as the Danes take freedom of speech as a given.

The chairman does not understand why anyone in Denmark had problems with the controversial movie about the Quran made by Wilders.

“People can choose not to watch the Wilders movie; that is their choice. It is very simple. There are a lot of things I think are rubbish, so I do not watch them. And I do not search for them either. People should be allowed to see what they want to see, and then you can just choose not to watch what you do not want to look at,” Thor Pedersen says.

It came as a surprise for Thor Pedersen that some Danes did not perceive freedom of speech as an absolute during the Mohammed-crisis, and instead added a “but” at the end of the statement “we have freedom of speech.”

“Either you have freedom of speech or you have not.. It is not a goal in itself to insult other people’s feelings, but that is not the same as saying people cannot speak out freely. If one can only say what other people enjoy hearing then you do not have freedom,” Thor Pedersen says.

Therefore he thinks that there are no limitations on freedom of speech other that what is described in the constitution.

Because freedom of speech is also valid when other people feel provoked by the statements and thoughts that someone comes forward with.

New Danes to be celebrated

And to those groups who say “but”, the message is:

“There are religious forces, and here I do not only think of Islam, but also on other religions, who do not like it when people say what is on their minds. There are also political forces who do not like it when people say what they think. And there is only one thing to say: When you have freedom of speech, then people can say what they want about religious matters as well as political,” Thor Pedersen says, and thinks that the day of citizenship is an important day.

“A lot of our new citizens have lived in a society where saying what is on your mind is outright illegal. But they have now chosen that [the right to say what you mean] and therefore it is very important to celebrate the newest Danish citizens,” Thor Pedersen says.
